Whats are OPCs and Antioxidants?
What is OPC?
What is OPC? OPC refers to Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins, which are bioflavonoid complexes that help counteract free radicals within the body. Several names are used to refer to OPC antioxidants are PCOs, Oligomeric Procyanidolic Complexes, and Leuco Anthocyanin.
Most research shows that oxidation is the primary cause of health degeneration and aging, it is a process that can be found throughout nature. When foods spoil, when metal rusts and when rubber crumbles, oxidation is the primary cause. The same happens to the human body over time and can increase the likelihood of disease, a breakdown of the immune system and the loss of precious time on the clock of life.
Oxidation and the onset of free radicals throughout the body can be attributed to many factors. Chemical food additives, sweeteners, cigarette smoke and car exhaust are among tens of thousands of toxins that effect our lives each day and slowly cripple our bodies ability to stay healthy. That is where OTCs come in.
OPCs contain powerful antioxidants and fight the adverse effects of free radicals, promoting healthier bodies and lifestyles.
